The Artichoke
I earned the title of artichoke over the many of conversations Stick and I have had about what we've both done in our lives. Me, from ring girl, to being in a band, riding a harley etc., I always kept him guessing about some of the crazy things I've done and peeling away those layers, hence the artichoke. I've always been curious about my family tree, which I've vowed to research. Without belaboring my post, I just learned my mom is an artichoke too. She just told me she used to love to act when she was a child. In Jewish theatre. Most of the time she played boys and during the bow she would untuck her long hair and the audience would then learn she was a little girl. She remembered a fond memory of doing a play with Molly Picon. She was the first and foremost star in Yiddish theatre. My digging has begun. I love my mom...the artichoke.
